The recent NAFAS Flower Display at the Hall raised money for the RNLI. A great deal was done for the Institution's cause bu the thousands of people who visited the Hall over the four days.

Traditional English Afternoon Tea & Floral Entertainment

A series of afternoon teas and floral demonstrations, in association with Rowleys Catering and Flower Design, are being presented at Lytham Hall. In addition, there will be musical entertainment from Howard Wing and Nicola Howard.

Each demonstration begins at 2.00pm.

The price for each demonstration is £20.00, inclusive of afternoon tea, tea/coffee and the floral demonstration.

Dates:
14 December 2009: "Christmas Afternoon Tea"
20 January 2010: "Snowdrop Afternoon Tea"
4 February 2010: "Romantic Afternoon Tea"
25 March 2010: "Easter Afternoon Tea"

Cheques are payable to Lytham Hall and should be sent, together with the date you would like to attend, to Jane Thompson (Afternoon Tea), Flower Design, 8 Park Road, Lytham St. Annes FY8 1QX.

This post is slightly different from Lytham Hall's usual posts.

This is me being very cheeky and using it to spread the word that i am running the London Marathon next year for Teenage Cancer Trust. This is a charity very close to my heart and i intend to run the marathon in under 5 hours to raise as much money for them as possible. I'm not running it alone, my boyfriend is running the marathon in 3 and a half hours to raise as much money as he can too.

So here is my cheekiness. If i promise to train my hardest for such a good cause and complete the marathon, would you be so kind in sponsoring us to help reach our target of £4000 which I'm sure you will agree, will be a big help to the charity. If you would like to sponsor us we have our own just giving page, www.justgiving.co.uk/christyandandrew which is a safe and secure site and all money will go straight to the charity. Any donation no matter how small will be very much appreciated.

Wedding Photo Shoot At Lytham Hall

Lytham Hall came together with Jonny Draper, Flower Design, S+P Hair and DreamCatcher on a big photo shoot to provide you with an idea of the look you can achieve on your wedding day.

The stunning dresses from Dream Catcher are being modeled by the beautiful Ella from Pure Beauty and Erica.

The beautiful bouquets by Flower Design complimenting every dress, and photos taken by Jonny Draper truly capturing the elegance of the Hall.

This gorgeous collection of dresses works so well and is complimented by the natural beauty of the Hall itself.

Here we have a picture of the very beautiful Ella, walking down the main stairs in a stunning red wedding dress. The stair case has been decorated beautifully for a wedding.

Here is a stunning picture, taking great advantage of the natural beauty provided by the grounds.

On Wednesday 17th June, Lytham Hall is hosting another one of its successful Afternoon tea with Flower Demonstration from the very talented Jane at Flower Design, click on Flower Design to check out Janes amazing Blog!
Afternoon Tea will be provided by our very own Rowley's Catering, This event promises to be a relaxed, fun filled afternoon with all of Jane's creations being raffled off to raise money for charity.

St Georges Day Festival.

Last week Lytham hall played host to the 1st St Georges Day festival.

Friday was the Black Tie Charity Ball and all 500 tickets sold out!
The Marquee looked amazing, all set out in red and white from CK Marquees and the flowers were done by Flower Design.

Team Rowleys were hard at work preparing for the feast ahead!
Saturday was the big Family Fun Day with over 2000 people coming through our gates. The army were here to help celebrate and brought along their "death slide", inflatable assault course and made hot roast pork and host roast beef sandwiches for everybody.

The Marquee had been turned round and cleaned ready for all the stall holders, dancers and fasion shows that took place through out the day.

It was a very successful weekend with lots of money being raised for charity so a big thank you to all that attended and enjoyed!

Easter Sunday

This Sunday Lytham hall will be open for all the family to enjoy!

We have an Ester Egg hunt around the grounds, colouring competitons in our tea room and we will have some falcons here for everyone to see.

To be held on 2nd & 3rd April 2009, a “Flower Design Afternoon Tea” at “Lytham Hall”, this will be an extremely elegant affair in the wonderful surroundings of The Gold Room. Rowley’s Catering will be providing us with a delicious afternoon tea, Finger sandwiches, elegant savouries, dainty cakes and home made scones, with home made jam & clotted cream, pots of tea are of course included but Champagne will be available to buy for those of us with a more frivolous nature.

Jane from Flower Design will be providing her own brand of “Floral Entertainment”, and will be using a sumptuous selection of early summer blooms, all of the designs will be raffled and the proceeds given to The Hospice. Lytham hall's Event Fayre!

This weekend saw Lytham Hall's first Event Fayre which was attended by 200 people!

The hall looked absolutley amazing and i have to say a huge thank you to Jane and Jason at Flower Design for all the gorgeous flowers they displayed around the House.

The West Wing was set out for a Wedding Breakfast and was dressed by Rowley's catering, Flower Design and Creative Cover Hire.

The Gillow Room was set for an intimate dinner party and i think Jane's fish bowls make perfect centre pieces!

The Gold Room is our most popluar Ceremony Room which is licensed for 60 people.

This weekend wouldnt have been possible with out all the exhibitors that came along and a big thank you has to go out to them too! Rowleys Catering made sure all guests were happy with their mouth watering canapés and drinks, so thank you to Paul and Ben!

Last but by know means least, thank you to all that attended and to those who booked an Event at Lytham Hall. I look forward to working with you to help create your perfect event!

Last Snowdrop Walk Cancelled

The Hall and grounds will be back open on Sundays from Easter Sunday for walks and guided tours.

Extra Snowdrop Walk!

Due to our Snowdrops still being in full bloom we have decided to add an extra date onto our Annual Walks.

The Grounds will now be open on Sunday 1st March from 10.30 to 4.30 with last entry at 3.30. Our Shop and Tearoom will also be open for light refreshments.

This will be your last chance to see our beautiful Snowdrops and explore the grounds of Lytham Hall until Easter.

Mothers Day Lunch

Celebrate Mothers Day in style with us at

Rowley's Catering will be providing a delicious three course meal for only £20 per person.

Arrival for Lunch is at the North Entrance of the hall at 12.00 noon, where you will be escorted through to the main house and bar facility, where you can order drinks / wine for your table. At around 12.45pm you will be shown to the dinning room for your Lunch.

Guests are welcome to make the most of the walks around the grounds with a wonderful display of spring flowers either before or after your lunch. Please note the gates will open at 10.30 am and close at 4pm.

Places are limited and booking in advance booking is essential.

Lytham is proud to present its first Event Open Day's which will be taking place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March from 11am to 4pm.

This is a chance for people to see the Hall dressed to impress for every occasion from a Wedding Ceremony, an Evening Reception or an Intimate Dinner. Escorted guided tours are available and we have invited along some of the very best experts in every service for you to meet.
Drinks and Canapés are served throughout.

Friday's Afternoon Tea

Friday saw our second Afternoon Tea at Lytham Hall which was attended by 50 ladies all ready to watch Jane's beautiful flower demonstrations and sample Rowleys amazing food.

At 2pm the Gold Room was all set, the fire was blazing and the chefs were hard at work.

A big thank you to all that attended, and to Jane, Sally and Jason at Flower Design and Paul and Ben from Rowleys who helped to make this Afternoon Tea a great success! Lecture - 22.01.09

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the Lecture that was scheduled for the 22nd January. Niall Phillips who was taking the lecture has broken his leg and will be unable to attend.
We have rescheduled the event to the 24th September 2009.

Snowdrop Walks

It's that time of year again when we have our annual snow drop walks. Today at the Hall all the staff have got their hands dirty and have been clearing up from Christmas for one of our busiest events of the year.

This year the Snowdrop walks will take place on every Sunday in February. Gates are open from 10.30am to 4pm, (last entry 3pm) and admission prices are £2.50 for adult and £1 for children. Our tea room will be open for refreshments through out the day. Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you all celebrated in style.
The Hall is now back open for business after its festive break, even though everyone seem to have been hit by this bug that's going around! We have a very busy year ahead of us with lots of events planned.

Yes its time for all the hall staff to relax and enjoy the Christmas festivities, and therefore The Hall has now closed, until the new year (Apart from 27th December. We have not forgot the wedding!)

Christmas Cheer as usual at Lytham Hall today, and oh look, team Rowley's have found some hats ! ! Today we had 120 people in for Christmas Lunch. And at 12 noon the doors opened with the usual welcoming glass of Mulled Wine. Mr Rowley of Rowley's Catering prides himself on the taste of his Mulled Wine recipe, so much that not even his staff know what goes in it !

Also today we had entertainment from the fantastic Mr Howard Wing. Howard stepped in at last minute to perform during the reception, and a great job he did. Howard, who plays a similar style to the likes of Tony Benedict and Steve Bayliss, is available to hire, and has proved a success at many events around the country. His versatility means not only can he sing at your own function, he can also toast master, coordinate and even recommend other fantastic acts should you want something extra for your party. Another busy day at the hall today. This time 105 people tucked into our Delicious Lunch, served across two floors of the hall. The usual Carol Singing and Mulled Wine was in full swing and everyone went away with there appetites satisfied. A well earned rest for all involved now until Tuesday 16th.

Today saw the start of our Festive lunches. Our guests were treated to a Mulled Wine reception served by our wonderful caterers, Rowleys http://rowleyscatering.co.uk/ in the Old Hall which has been beautifully decorated with minimalistic decor and its fabulous Christmas tree in the main entrance, not to mention the grand fire place which was ablaze and keeping everyone warm

Carol Singers Entertained all 95 people which came today, together with jewellery from The Lindum Hotels http://lindumhotel.co.uk/ Avril Dempsey. By 1pm, every bodies stomach's were rumbling, and it was time for Richard Waterhouse, to announce everyone into The West Wing for the Christmas Lunch. Richard (pictured below) is the Halls new Function & Events Manager, and has had a fantastic first year with many clients going away with great memories. If you would like to discuss an event or idea you may have involving the hall, Richard is your man
